Specialized Training

Our cleaning and disinfecting procedures go beyond the scope of work performed by regular janitorial services. We have specialized training, years of experience, specialized products, and we practice protocols developed by the CDC.

First, we clean and sanitize all areas to remove dirt and impurities. Soft surfaces, such as carpet and upholstered furniture are cleaned using a cleaning agent and water in the usual way, often with a carpet shampooing system. Hard surfaces are cleaned by hand with a cleaning agent and water.

The CDC advises to give special consideration to “high-touch” surfaces, such as doorknobs, light switches, handles, faucets, tables, countertops, desks, phones, keyboards, sinks, and toilets.

After everything has been cleaned, we disinfect the entire area with a hospital-grade disinfectant. This product is left on the surface for the recommended amount of time, then wiped by hand to remove any residue.

SERVPRO’s product line includes multiple products that align with the EPA-approved emerging pathogens claims. Although there is currently no product tested against the COVID-19 virus, we adhere to all guidelines provided by the CDC.
