Whether you are burning candles for fun, that amazing fall scent or for lighting your home during a power loss, make them burn longer by following these simple tips. First, freeze your candle, the hardened wax will melt more slowly. Then burn the candle just long enough for a small pool of wax to form, then sprinkle salt into the wax to slow the melting. Lastly, trim the wick, longer wicks usually cause the wax to melt more quickly.
