Here in our lovely neck of the woods, rain and heavy rain is nothing new. Unfortunately sometimes we are hit with inches of rain in one day overwhelming storm systems and drains causing backups into buildings. This past winter we were called by a local community center that had flooding occurring due to high rains. We have seen lots of loses and Javier, our Crew Chief who was first to respond has been with us for nearly 10 years and this was one that blew us all away. Water was gushing through the ceiling affecting the basement that housed hand ball and basketball courts as well as numerous dance studios all with real hardwoods floors with INCHES of water sitting on them. We were able to jump into action and start extraction and mitigation. Due to the work of our crews lead by Javier the hardwoods were all able to be salvaged and dried down, saving time and money.
