Furniture takes a beating during its life, from kids jumping on it, muddy paws or spilled food. But nothing quite compares to the damage that can be done when a disaster strikes your home. If a recent storm surge brought higher than normal rainfall or candle left unattended caused a fire and smoke damage in your home, your contents may be a neglected part of the loss and claim process.

Often times when a disaster like a water or fire damage strike we think about the house, the structure; the walls and roof and flooring. We don’t always think right away off the contents, the heirlooms and photos and memories that make a house your home.
